Konami Reportedly Working On A New Silent Hill Game

It’s being reported that Konami is working on a new Silent Hill game which I really hope is the case because we need a new Silent Hill game.

This report comes to us from IGN who is reporting that Konami is rumoured to be working on a new Silent Hill game with Bloober Team.

Bloober Team is a Polish video game studio and it seems as though they and Konami are working on a video game together.

They made The Medium, Blair Witch and Observer which are three pretty impressive games.

They announced what they refer to as a have “strategic cooperation agreement” which will see them make games with Konami.

This is what’s spawned the rumours that they are making a Silent Hill video game together.

Bloober wrote on their website that this agreement will “include jointly developing selected contents and exchanging know-how.”

Konami’s Hideki Hayakawa said that this new partnership will combine “Bloober Team’s and our respective characteristics and strengths to create high-quality contents.”

However, Konami did state that the agreement still wasn’t 100% finalised just yet, saying: “We will announce information about contents from the business alliance once details are decided.”

It had been previously reported that Konami was looking for a third-part developer to help them make a Silent Hill game.

In other words, the Japanese video game developers were looking to outsource the Silent Hill game.
