Kevin Feige has revealed in a recent Q&A with journalists that Deadpool 3 would be Marvel’s only R-rated content. He revealed this during a recent the Television Critics Association Winter 2021 Tour (via Decider).

During this Q&A Feige has with TV critics at this special ‘tour’ the Marvel President was asked about R-Rated projects beyond the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie, which was confirmed as being a rated R film. This was when Feige revealed that there are no plans to make other R-rated projects in the future.

This might upset quite a few people who were hoping to see an R-rated Daredevil or The Punisher series and a more adult Blade movie. However, this doesn’t mean that these shows and movies won’t be on the cusp of getting an R-rating.

So, what did Feige say exactly? Well, the Marvel President revealed that, with the exception of Deadpool 3, which already had an R-rating when they got hold of the property, everything they make is for “kids and adults.”

Feige also revealed that he doesn’t necessarily envisage a future where Marvel would tell stories that are only meant to be seen by adult viewers. Here’s what Feige had to say on that matter:

We’ve been able to tell all the kinds of stories that we’ve wanted to with the tonality and the ratings we have now.
