Kevin Feige Reportedly Still Wants To Keep Daredevil’s Mature Nature In The MCU

It’s being rumoured that Kevin Feige is still very much interested in keeping Daredevil’s mature nature in the MCU. This rumour comes to us from We Got This Covered’s sources.

It was revealed yesterday that the movie and TV rights to the Daredevil character will be back with Marvel Studios on Sunday. This means that Kevin Feige can finally get his hands back on the character.

There have been so many fans pleading with Marvel and Netflix to sort things out and bring back the Charlie Cox version of the character. However, it looks very unlikely that Cox will get a chance to play Daredevil ever again, which is just such a shame.

However, it does sound like Kevin Feige is keen on keeping the more mature nature of Daredevil that they went with in the Netflix series. This means that they might be bringing the character to an R-rated Marvel Studios movie or TV show.

It’s going to be so interesting to see what Marvel Studios decides to do with their characters such as Daredevil, The Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. These are all characters that have been made pretty popular thanks to the Netflix show.

However, it looks like Marvel is going to be recasting the roles. This means that we will not be getting to see the likes of Cox, Jon Bernthal and Kristen Ritter to play their Marvel comics characters again. That is just such a huge shame.

That said, it seems as that Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige in particular just want a clean slate as far as those characters are concerned.
