It’s been revealed that Deadpool 2 actor Josh Brolin has been listed in the cast of the upcoming Deadpool And Wolverine (Deadpool 3) on IMDb. This is interesting because Brolin hasn’t been officially confirmed as being in the movie’s cast. He’s actually spoken about wanting to be in the movie in the past, but he’s claimed on multiple occasions that he hasn’t been asked to return as Cable in the upcoming MCU movie.
This Deadpool movie will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is exciting. However, it seems as though Ryan Reynolds hasn’t asked Josh Brolin to return as Cable. Brolin played Cable in Deadpool 2, and I thought that he was brilliant in the role. This new movie will star the likes of Reynolds back as the Merc With A Mouth. He’ll be joined by Hugh Jackman, who will be returning as Wolverine in the picture.

This upcoming Deadpool movie has been directed by Shawn Levy. You might know Levy from his previous movies, such as the Night At The Museum films, Free Guy, Real Steel and The Adam Project. He’s also directed episodes of Stranger Things and has produced a whole bunch of films. However, the one that stands out to me is The Spectacular Now, which is one of my favourite movies ever made.

Levy has worked with Reynolds on a number of occasions before working on this third Deadpool movie. They made The Adam Project and Free Guy together. They seem to really enjoy working together. Levy also directed Hugh Jackman in Real Steel, so it seems as though it was written in the stars that Hugh should return to play Wolverine after he vowed never to return to the role after the release of Logan in cinemas.
