Jonathan Majors’ Kang To Be In 3 Episodes Of Loki Season 2

Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror would be having more screen time as he is expected to show up in multiple episodes in Marvel’s Loki Season 2. Kang the Conqueror was the highlight of Marvel’s latest film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

And Majors’ impressed a lot of the viewers, which is good. He is the big bad villain to replace Thanos for the next couple of MCU phases. He has big shoes to fill and apparently more screen time too.

He is set to show up in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Marvel fans are expecting that Kang will be returning in other projects as well.

But of course, Kang the Conqueror was also the cliffhanger on Loki’s first season finale, so he’s expected to show up in the upcoming season.

In Loki, we only saw Jonathan Majors’ Kang in the final episode of the first season, as He Who Remains, a variant of Kang. The show also explained why the multiverse exists.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it was revealed in a post-credit scene that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) would meet another Kang variant named Victor Timely.

Now the question is, how much of Jonathan Majors will we be seeing in Loki?

The Cosmic Circus reports that they have heard that Jonathan Majors will be reprising the role in more than one episode. Actually, their report says that there will be at least three. Considering Loki is set for only six episodes, just like the first. Kang’s appearance does have more significance this time around.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also established that there are multiple versions of Kang in the mid-credits scene with the Council of Kangs. We wonder if we’ll see more variants in the TV show as well, other than Victor Timely himself.

The report also states that we won’t be seeing any other members of the Council of Kangs. But, it does state that they’ll be mentioned and referenced since the TVA’s Time-Keepers are based on the council.

Loki is, of course, not only travelling through time but to different universes as well. This opens up so many possibilities. Timely is just the first of many in the series. Loki and Mobius will be travelling through the multiverse to see how much control Kang has.

The Cosmic Circus adds that the one possible variant that we may see is Mr. Gryphon, another variant of Kang who has been hinted at for a while now. He did show up in the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s mid-credits scene.

Mr. Gryphon is known in the comics as the CEO of Qeng Enterprises. This has been referenced in the first season of Loki as we see a variant of the Avengers Tower in the Void. With that said, is it possible that he is the one who bought the Avengers Tower in Spider-Man: Homecoming?

Personally, I’m just happy to see that Jonathan Majors will have more screen time in the upcoming series. I enjoyed watching him in Lovecraft Country. As I mentioned before, I’d love to see him flex his range of acting. Just as I enjoyed watching Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black or Tom Cavanagh in CW’s The Flash.
