Supporters of Johnny Depp’s are saying that they are basically all planning on boycotting DC Comics’ Aquaman 2 movie which will star Amber Heard. She is, of course, the reason why they will be boycotting the movie.
A lot of Johnny Depp’s supporters took to Twitter to reveal their plans to boycott James Wan’s Aquaman 2 since Amber Heard is still going to be starring in the film as Mera.
These supporters have also managed to get the hashtag #BoycottAquman2 trending on Twitter, which is kind of crazy. It’s gaining so much traction online that Warner Bros. Pictures might have to do something to prevent this from getting any worse.

These tweets are just a drop in the ocean of how many people are demanding that people don’t go and watch Aquaman 2 when it comes out. There have been many rumours suggesting that Amber Heard could be dropped from the movie as Mera.
However, the fact that she’s already involved in Zack Snyder’s Justice League’s additional photography seems to indicate that she will be playing Mera in the DC Comics movies moving forward. We’re going to have to wait and see what will happen regarding Amber Heard and her time in the DCEU.
This all started after Johnny Depp lost his libel case against The Sun newspaper in the UK. The judge said that the allegations The Sun made about Depp – that he was a “wife-beater” were “substantially true”.

I would say that the WB is making huge mistakes at the moment. Between forcing a resignation from Depp paying him his salary as obligated by contract, and now the backlash for FB3 and the boycott there along with Aquaman 2…looks like WB is going to be losing $$ millions $$.
