Jim Carrey Is Reportedly Being Considered For A Major MCU Villain Role

There’s a rumour that Jim Carrey could be up for a major villain role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which would be interesting casting.

Jim Carrey is no stranger to playing a bad guy in a big comic book movie.

He played The Riddler in Batman Forever, and some may have not been fans of his take on the character.

That said, I thought he was quite remarkable and Carrey’s done some very interesting stuff since.

He most recently played Dr. Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog and I loved his manic performance.

There are now rumours, courtesy of We Got This Covered’s source, that Marvel Studios may be looking to cast him as a major villain the MCU.

Their sources claim that Marvel Studios is interested in bringing Carrey into the MCU.

The claim that Marvel Studios might be bringing Carrey in to voice MODOK, which would be interesting.

However, there are a whole host of other Marvel characters he’d be perfect for.

Off the top of my head, I can think of the likes of Madcap, Arcade and he’d make for a pretty good Purple Man too.
