Jared Leto Rumoured To Want Mobius To Be More Involved In The MCU

It’s being reported that Jared Leto is trying to convince Marvel Studios to make his Morbius more involved in the MCU moving forward. This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources, so maybe take it with a pinch of salt.

It’s being reported by WGTC that Jared Leto is very keen to have his Morbius share the screen with Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in a future movie in the MCU. This doesn’t sound like it could be a million miles from the truth.

It does seem as though Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are planning on making an Avengers-like Spider-Man movie in the future, which could end up being their live-action Spider-Verse films.

Jared Leto will be playing Morbius in the upcoming Sony Pictures movie, which was supposed to be coming out this year. However, Sony opted to delay all their 2020 movies because of the global pandemic.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage was also supposed to be coming out this year, but the Tom Hardy and Andy Serkis movie was also delayed. So, we’re going to have to wait and see what happens next in the Sony Spider-Man spinoff movies.

It does sound like, however, Marvel and Sony are working on bringing Jared Leto’s Morbius and Tom Hardy’s Venom into a future Spider-Man movie, which could actually be a Spider-Verse film. Personally, I would be all in for seeing Jared Leto be more involved in the MCU.
