James Gunn Will Not Make Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Without Dave Bautista

James Gunn has revealed via Twitter recently that he will never make Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 without Dave Bautista. This is, honestly, to be expected since Bautista’s Drax is a vital part of the Guardians Of The Galaxy.

So, why would people be questioning whether Dave Bautista would be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? It all has to do with the fact that Bautista has been pretty vocal about his displeasure with Disney for having fired Gunn in the first place.

He was making so much noise that people have been wondering whether Disney might not want him to return to the MCU. That said, it seems as though the deal is that James Gunn will not make the movie if Bautista isn’t in it. You can check out James Gunn’s tweet below.

James Gunn was asked by a fan: “Is @DaveBautista coming back?”, and here’s what the writer/director replied:

Would I do a Guardians movie without @DaveBautista?

As far as I’m concerned, James Gunn will never make a Guardians of the Galaxy movie without Dave Bautista, and that makes sense as far as I’m concerned. Bautista is brilliant as Drax and is a key part of the Guardians.

He’s also very important as far as the films’ tone is concerned. His unique brand of humour – or lack thereof – is really important, and he does is in many cases serve as the group’s morality. This could be because he sees things in black and white.
