James Gunn Debunks Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Adam Warlock Casting Rumours

There have been some rumours that Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 is casting Adam Warlock, however, James Gunn has now debunked those rumours.

The report came from The Illumnerdi, and to be fair to them, they came out and said they made a mistake after Gunn’s tweet claiming their report was inaccurate.

They were claiming that James Gunn and Marvel Studios was now casting Adam Warlock in the upcoming Guardians movie.

They wrote that Marvel and Gunn were looking for a: “thirty-year-old Caucasian man, who is described as both a ‘superhero type’ and a ‘Zac Efron type’, as Adam Warlock.”

James Gunn says they’re not casting Adam Warlock in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3… yet…

Here’s what James Gunn had to say about those Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 casting rumours:

There is no casting underway for Vol. 3. And in what world would I only cast a “Caucasian” if the character has gold skin? And if I wanted a Zac Efron type wouldn’t I go to Zac Efron? Where do you get this nonsense?

That’s a pretty hard denial of the casting rumours.

However, it does seem as though Adam Warlock will be in the third Guardians Of The Galaxy movie.

That said, Gunn has claimed in the past that Adam Warlock might not even be in the movie.
