Is Lupin Season 3 In The Works Over At Netflix?

Lupin Season 2 (also known as Lupin Part 2) has landed on Netflix and fans are desperate to know if Lupin Season 3 is in the works at Netflix.

Now, the first question we need to answer is whether Lupin Season 3 is in the works over at Netflix.

I can tell you that there are rumblings that it’s happening, but I haven’t been able to confirm anything.

There have been a lot of rumours about Season 3 out there, but nothing solid to go on.

The minute I hear anything about Lupin Season 3 being in the works, I will let you know.

What I can tell you is that Netflix and everyone involved in the show would love to do more.

However, it’s still not officially been announced nor green lit yet.

That doesn’t mean it isn’t already being worked on behind the scenes.

The show is created by George Kay and François Uzan and is inspired by the adventures of master thief Arsène Lupin, a character created by Maurice Leblanc in the early 1900s.

Lupin is a very popular character in France and is best described as a sort of cross between Robin Hood and Sherlock Holmes.

The series stars the brilliant Omar Sy, and he’s just great as Assane Diop in the show.

Diop is trying to find out what really happened to his father who was framed for a burglary he didn’t commit.

Diop’s father ended up hanging himself in his prison cell, and Assane vowed to work out what really happened and took inspiration from a book his father gave him.

That book was The Adventures Of Arsène Lupin.

Diop then becomes the gentleman burglar we all now know and love.

Here’s Netflix official plot synopsis for their new hit French show, Lupin:

This isn’t a game anymore. Assane’s quest for revenge against Hubert Pellegrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.
