Indiana Jones 5 To Wrap Filming Next Month

Indiana Jones 5 To Wrap Filming Next Month

It’s been revealed by Indiana Jones 5’s director/writer James Mangold that the movie, which stars Harrison Ford, is going to be finished filming next month.

Here’s what Mangold revealed about Indiana Jones 5 in a recent tweet:

About a month remaining.

He posted this after he was asked on Twitter when the movie would be done with filming.

So, this means that the movie’s principal photography should be done towards the end of February.

The movie’s already been delayed a few times due to COVID-19 cases on set and also Ford’s injury he sustained whilst prepping for the movie.

It’ll be interesting to see whether they’ll have to do any reshoots after filming’s finished.

Most big Hollywood blockbusters go through reshoots these days.

Filming on Indiana Jones 5 will be finished in February

I’m hoping that the fifth Indiana Jones movie will be better than Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

That movie was pretty bad and was nowhere near the quality of the first three movies in the franchise.

Hopefully, James Mangold can breathe new life into the long-running franchise.

Steven Spielberg is still on board as a producer and will reportedly be very involved in the movie.

John Williams, the composer of the franchise’s iconic theme tune, is also returning.

It’s been reported that Phoebe Waller-Bridge will play the movie’s female lead, while Antonio Banderas, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Toby Jones are also set to star in undisclosed roles.

Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released in theatres on June 30th, 2023.
