Hercules Coming To The MCU In A Disney Plus Series?

With the reveal that Russell Crowe is playing Zeus in Thor: Love And Thunder, people are wondering whether this could pave the way for Hercules in the MCU.

Well, one of those people asking themselves that question is Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton.

He has just shared some rather interesting information which suggests that Marvel is thinking of bringing Hercules into the MCU.

There have been rumours that Hercules is going to be coming to the MCU for years now.

I was seeing people reporting that he was going to be part of Thor: Ragnarok.

Now, that didn’t end up happening, however, Geekosity is now hearing that he could be coming to a Disney Plus series in the future.

Here’s what Mikey had to say on the matter:

Sources close to me revealed Marvel Studios was most interested in that ’80s version of Hercules for Disney Plus.

So, Mikey is hearing that Marvel wants to bring Hercules into the MCU via an upcoming Disney Plus series.

That does make sense and it aligns with the strategy that Marvel is adopting for many of its comic book characters that still haven’t been introduced in the MCU.

The likes of She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms Marvel are all being brought into the MCU via Disney Plus.

I’m sure that a Hercules series is something that Marvel fans would love to see.

I also think that Marvel Studios would be very interested in making an almost Game Of Thrones/Lord Of The Rings type series with Hercules.

He would fit that fantasy mold pretty well if you ask me.

It’s definitely something to think about, and I think it could happen sooner rather than later.

What do you make of this report?

Would you like to see a Hercules series on Disney Plus?
