Henry Cavill To Cameo As Superman In The Arrowverse?
It’s now being rumoured that Henry Cavill might end up cameoing as Superman in The CW’s Arrowverse, which I’m finding hard to believe.
Now, this rumour does come from the one and only, Daniel Richtman, so maybe take it with a pinch of salt.
However, the ‘scoopster’ is claiming that Henry Cavill could be about to make his way to The CW’s Arrowverse.
In all honesty, I am not sure this will ever happen, and it’s because Henry Cavill is one of the world’s biggest movie stars.
I know that many people will be pointing at the Crisis crossover event that took place in the Arrowverse recently.
That crossover featured a pretty awesome cameo from Ezra Bridger as The Flash.
However, there is a distinct difference between Cavill and Bridger.
They are both huge movie stars, but Cavill isn’t looking to play Superman in The CW.
That’s just not something that he would even consider.
He wants to play Superman on the biggest screen possible.
Cavill’s not interested in the small screen.
Would Henry Cavill really cameo as Superman in The CW’s Arrowverse?
However, this would definitely be something that Greg Berlanti and the others at The CW would love to see.
It would be huge for them to get Henry Cavill to cameo as Superman in the Arrowverse.
I mean, never say never, however, this one would be a massive stretch.
If Berlanti were put in charge of the whole of the DC movie and TV productions, then yes, this could happen.
The idea of having Berlanti become the Kevin Feige of DC Films makes sense to me.
However, I’m also not sure that will ever happen either.
There’s a stigma surrounding Berlanti, not only inside WarnerMedia but also with the fans.
People just see him as a ‘TV guy’.
They don’t see him as someone who could bring the DC Universe forward.
