Is Grant Gustin Done With The CW And The Flash?

There are rumours making their rounds on the Internet suggesting that Grant Gustin is done with The Flash series, which I find hard to believe.

The rumours do come from Daniel Richtman and I have been trying to stay away from his ‘scoops’ because they tend to be more miss than hit.

However, what he’s saying he’s heard does sound rather worrying for The Flash fans.

According to Richtman, Grant Gustin is having issues with The CW.

They are currently working on renewing his contract for The Flash Season 8 and apparently, it’s not going very well.

Gustin did previously reveal during an appearance on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast that they were talking about Season 8 before the pandemic.

He also revealed that they were even chatting a little about The Flash Season 9.

However, the pandemic then hit and talks were put on hold.

So, it sounds like Gustin was really keen on getting the ball rolling on more seasons of The Flash.

It was recently revealed by Deadline that three of The Flash’s main stars had signed on for Season 8.

Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker and Candice Patton have all signed deals to return for Season 8.

So, why hasn’t Grant Gustin signed his contract yet with The CW for The Flash Season 8?

Well, it seems as though he’s not very happy with what he’s being offered by the studio.

This wouldn’t be the first time that the studio has annoyed one of the stars of their shows.

There have been a lot of rumours that a vast number of actors haven’t been happy with The CW for quite some time now.

Hopefully, all of this will be worked out in the end because I do think The Flash needs an eighth season.
