First Look At Iman Vellani In The Ms Marvel Suit Revealed In New Set Photos

We’ve had our first look at Iman Vellani in the Ms Marvel suit in the upcoming Disney Plus series in some new set photos. She looks, well, a bit like Iman Vellani in a bad Halloween costume… Yep, that’s the news guys…

People were rather shocked when Iman Vellani was cast as Ms Marvel (a.k.a. Kamala Khan), which is going to be a pretty big Disney Plus original Marvel TV show. Vellani was a complete unknown before she was cast in the role.

Ms Marvel will be her first-ever role, in anything. This just means she must have really killed it in the audition. Just think how incredible it must have been for Disney and Marvel to agree to have her play the lead in one of their big upcoming TV shows? It must have been mind-blowing!

Anyway, they’re filming the show now, and thanks to Marvel News’ photographers who are on set, we’ve had our first look at Vellani in the Ms Marvel suit. It looks a bit ropey, but that might be part of the character’s charm.

This could very well be a first iteration of the suit, which would be quite amusing as far as I’m concerned. I love seeing superheroes struggle to get the look of their suits right. Just look at the Spider-Man movies in which they did that. It was interesting in all of them.

I also think that this suit will look a lot better after the footage has been through post-production. Just have a look at how terrible all actors look in their superhero suits during shooting. Then compare those shots of them on set to how incredible they look in the final movie or TV show.
