Thena The Eternals MCU Marvel

First Look At Angelina Jolie In Costume As Thena In The Eternals

I was completely over the moon when I heard that Marvel Studios was going to be making an Eternals movie, and I became even more excited when I found out that Angelina Jolie had been cast as Thena, which is perfect casting.

She is utterly perfect for the role – there’s no one I can think of acting today who’d be better suited for the role.

Jolie is also a fabulous actor, and the fact that she’s agreed to star in a Marvel movie is a huge coup for the studio.

The Eternals movie has an incredible cast with the likes of Richard Madden, Lauren Ridloff, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek and Kit Harington all getting roles in the movie.

Meanwhile, we’ve had our first glimpse at Jolie is full costume as Thena, and she’s looking very regal indeed.

You can have a look at her in costume via the tweet which I’ve put below.

The picture itself is rather blurry, but you can clearly see that she’s having a good time on set, which is always a good sign.

During the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con where they revealed the full cast The Eternals, Jolie revealed how excited she was to be a part of the upcoming film.

“I’m so excited to be here,” Jolie explained.

“I’m going to work 10 times harder because I think what it means to be a part of the MCU, what it means to be an Eternal, to be a part of this family, I know what we all need to do. We have all read the script.

“We have all know what the task ahead is and we are all going to be working very, very hard. I’m training. I am thrilled. Thank you so much.”

The Eternals will be directed by Chloe Zhao and is written by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo.

The Eternals will be coming out in cinemas on November 6th, 2020.
