Lucifer Season 5 Release Date Possibly Delayed Until 2021

People have been desperate to know when Lucifer Season 5’s release date would be revealed by Netflix, but we haven’t heard that much about it up to this point.

Lucifer Season 5 will be the show’s very last which is quite sad, but at least we got two more seasons thanks to Netflix after the show was cancelled by Fox.

Fox cancelled Lucifer after its third season and it had ended on a real cliffhanger.

Fans of the show then took to Twitter to let their voices be heard and try to get someone, anyone, to pick up the show.

This was when Netflix stepped in to save the show, but there were rumours that Amazon was also interested in Lucifer.

Netflix then made Lucifer Season 4, and it was arguably the best season of the show so far.

Anyway, fans of the show may know a bit more about when Lucifer Season 5 might be released on Netflix, and it sounds as if Netflix has heard our calls for Lucifer to be extended slightly, as it’s now been revealed that the final season (Season 5) will be 16 episodes long and split into two parts.

This means that we’re basically getting two seasons of Lucifer for the price of one.

This little bit of news was revealed when Tom Ellis was talking to Kelly Clarkson, who show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, was invited to visit the cast on set.

This was where Tom revealed: “Season 5 of Lucifer is going to be split into two halves.

“Netflix is going to drop eight episodes, there’s going to be a little break, and then they’re going to drop another eight more episodes.”

This is good news because it means that we’re going to get to have Lucifer around for a little bit longer.

And it also means that Netflix might be forced to delay the show and have both parts of Season 5 be released in 2021

As of yet, there’s still no news on when exactly Lucifer Season 5 will be released, but it does seem as though it’ll be either in late 2020 or early 2021.
