Fear Street Part 4 And More Are In The Works At Netflix

Fear Street Series In The Works Netflix

We have just been informed from a source close to Netflix that they are already lining up Fear Street Part 4 and more!

This comes after the huge success of the Fear Street trilogy on the streaming platform.

Anyway, let’s get straight to the point. Here’s what one of our sources had to say about these future Fear Street films:

Scripts are already being written for Fear Street 4 and beyond. Netflix would like to make another trilogy and these new films will be set closer to the present day.

I asked the source whether Leigh Janiak will be back to direct these movies.

They weren’t able to confirm whether she was, yet, but they did state that “it’s looking likely” she’ll be helming these future films.

Netflix loves how much people loved the Fear Street trilogy

The Fear Street trilogy is based on a series of books by R.L. Stein.

He’s the man who was behind the Goosebumps books and the Fear Street books have sold over 80 million copies.

He also wrote a series of Fear Street spin offs, the last of which being Fear Street Seniors which he released in 1999.

However, in 2005, he brought the series back with a three-part Fear Street Nights miniseries, which also sold well.

The books are hugely popular and Netflix has really struck gold with the movie adaptations of the books.

They could technically go on forever and I would love to see more movies set in the same world.

The movies, called Fear Street Part 1: 1994, Fear Street Part 2: 1978 and Fear Street Part 3: 1666 are all brilliant slasher films.

They remind me more of the Scream movies and we haven’t seen films like this for quite some time.

That said, they are very gory and not for the faint hearted.

I really loved them and cannot wait to see where the franchise goes next.

I would imagine that the next movies feature new main characters with some of the older ones making the odd cameo.
