Ethan Hawke Has Been Cast As The Main Villain In Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight Series

Ethan Hawke Moon Knight MCU Marvel

It’s been revealed that Ethan Hawke will be the main villain in the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney Plus series, Moon Knight. This news was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.

It was revealed a few weeks ago that Oscar Isaac had been cast as Moon Knight in the upcoming MCU series on Disney Plus. The show has now added its villain in Ethan Hawke.

Hawke is a truly brilliant actor, and so is Oscar Isaac, so this Moon Knight series has already got some incredible talent involved in it. Isaac previously played the villain Apocalypse in the 20th Century Fox X-Men movie, X-Men: Apocalypse. This will be Ethan Hawke’s first time in a Marvel project.

As for which villain Hawke will be playing in the series, The Hollywood Reporter’s article claims that this is still unknown. However, they did offer something in the way of speculation within their exclusive article.

It is unclear who Hawke would play, but Moon Knight’s archnemesis is a villain named Bushman, a fellow mercenary who turned on the hero when Egyptian gold came into the picture.

Episodes in this upcoming Marvel series will be directed by Mohamed Diab, the Egyptian helmer behind Middle Eastern drama Clash, and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the indie filmmaking team behind sci-fi horror movies The Endless and Synchronic.
