Eric Bana Won’t Return As Hulk In Marvel’s Multiverse

Eric-Bana-Hulk

Eric Bana has revealed in a recent interview that he probably won’t be returning as the Hulk through Marvel’s Mutlvierse, which is sad to hear.

He revealed this during an interview with Jake’s Takes in which he revealed that he doesn’t think he’ll ever get to play the Hulk again.

Here’s what he had to say during that interview:

When I went and did that film, that was kind of like pre-Marvel Universe. That universe didn’t even really exist, so it always felt like a one-time film for me. That world of you go off and do a movie, and there are going to be sequels, that framework didn’t even exist back then. I guess the short answer is no. I never felt like that was something that I was going to reprise or do again. After all this time, I can’t see that happening.

Eric Bana played the big green guy in Hulk, which was directed by Ang Lee.

The movie came out back in 2003 and it was before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even an idea.

It didn’t have great reviews, but people seemed to really like Bana’s performance as the iconic Marvel character.
