It’s been revealed that Dune 2 is happening (thank God!), and Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have also revealed the movie’s release date.

This was revealed by Legendary on Twitter.

Here’s what they had to say about Dune 2:

This is only the beginning… Thank you to those who have experienced @dunemovie so far, and those who are going in the days and weeks ahead. We’re excited to continue the journey!

Variety then added when the movie will be released in cinemas.

They revealed that Warner Bros. Pictures has set a tentative release date of October 23, 2023 for Dune 2.

This means that Denis Villeneuve will have about two years from this point to make the movie.

However, with everything that’s been going on with COVID-19 it might take a little bit longer than two years to make this movie.

The first film made it very clear that this is the first part of a two-part Dune movie.

At the very beginning of the movie, the film was called Dune: Part One.

The film has been doing pretty well in cinemas and at the box office.

It was pretty well received by the critics as well.

That said, there were some people who thought that the film was a bit of a case of style over substance.
