Doctor Strange 2 Casts The Watch Star As Rintrah

It’s been revealed that Doctor Strange 2, aka Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, has now added The Watch star, Adam Hugill to the cast. According to The Direct, Hugill will be playing Rintrah in the movie.

Adam Hugill’s star has really been on the rise over the last few years. He might be seen as a ‘Hollywood newcomer’, but he’s already been in the likes of 1917, a 2020 horror film called The Banishing and most recently had been blowing viewers away in The Watch.

The Watch is a TV show on BBC America which is inspired by the Ankh-Morpork City Watch from the Discworld series of fantasy novels by Terry Pratchett. Hugill plays Constable Carrot Ironfoundersson in the show and he’s brilliant in the role.

Here’s what The Direct wrote about Adam Hugill being cast in Doctor Strange 2:

Adam Hugill, a rising actor who has appeared in BBC America’s The Watch and the critically-acclaimed 1917, has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, The Direct has exclusively learned. Our sources indicate that Hugill is likely playing Rintrah, an alien minotaur who possesses magic powers in Marvel Comics.

Rintrah isn’t a Marvel Comics character I’m overly familiar with, but I have faith that the movie’s writers and Kevin Feige will know how to make the character as interesting as possible. I really cannot wait to see this Doctor Strange movie, which is being directed by Sam Raimi.
