The trailer for the third Cloverfield movie, The Cloverfield Paradox, has arrived and it’s available to stream on Netflix right now.
Cloverfield has become the surprise movie franchise that nobody really expected. The first movie, which was produced by J.J. Abrams and directed by War For The Planet Of The Apes’ Matt Reeves (who’s currently working on the Batman movie), was a resounding hit and we then got 10 Cloverfield Lane that we didn’t even know was connected to Cloverfield until the trailer hit.
We’ve been hearing rumours of a third Cloverfield movie for a while now. It was rather speculatively titled God Particle for a while and then there were rumours that it was going to be titled Cloverfield Station and that it’ll be a Netflix exclusive. Well, one of those rumours turned out to be true. Yes, the third Cloverfield movie is a Netflix exclusive, but it’s not called Cloverfield Station (thank God). It’s actually called The Cloverfield Paradox, which is a much better name.
The film has an incredible cast and it’s a miracle that they managed to keep it secret for so long. The film stars Daniel Brühl, Elizabeth Debicki, Aksel Hennie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O’Dowd, John Ortiz, David Oyelowo, and Zhang Ziyi and will take place on an international space station. The crew of this space station are trying to get back home after an experiment with a particle accelerator landed them in an alternate universe. No prizes for who can guess what they find when they finally make it back home.
The film is on Netflix right now, which is just crazy. So, if you fancy something fun and rather terrifying to watch tonight, why not check out the third Cloverfield movie, The Cloverfield Paradox, on Netflix.
