Have you ever wondered what it must be like to be playing Batman one day, and then no longer playing Batman the next?
This has happened to quite a few actors over the years. It’s happened to the likes of Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Ben Affleck and Christian Bale.
Bale has recently opened up about his time playing the role and in particular, the moment the was told he was no longer going to be playing the DC Comics superhero.
“That’s why we’re outside protesting, outside the movie theatres. There’s also the fact that I had no choice in the matter,” he told LadBible.

“It’s not like you go ‘you know what, I’ll hand it over now’ and there’s a ceremony, you get told ‘oh, you’re not it anymore’, ‘uh, oh really?’, ‘yeah, someone else is’.
“Ok, yeah it’s not in our hands.”
Christian Bale has also revealed that he would been have up for doing a fourth Batman movie, but that he would have only done it had Christopher Nolan had been involved.
It must have been a rather strange feeling to be told that you’re no longer going to be playing one of Hollywood’s most iconic heroes.
