Chris Hemsworth Celebrates Extraction Being Netflix’s Top Original Movie

Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to celebrate the fact that his movie, Extraction has been revealed to be Netflix’s top original movie of all time.

Honestly, I think Extraction will end up in my top ten movies of 2020 list.

Granted, that list isn’t going to be tough to get into this year given how few movies are being released thanks to COVID-19.

That said, I really enjoyed the Netflix Original film.

I thought Hemsworth was an excellent lead and the action set pieces were brilliant.

Anyway, it was revealed by Deadline that Extraction is the most-watched Netflix Original movie of all time.

Chris Hemsworth then took to Instagram to celebrate this fact.

Extraction was directed by Sam Hargrave and he was working off of a script by Marvel movie director, Joe Russo.

He was adapting a graphic novel by Andre Parks called Ciudad, and Joe had some help from his brother, Anthony, with the story.

They also produced the movie, and it looks like they might get to do a sequel.

Netflix was very happy with how the movie performed and the streaming giants struck a deal with Joe Russo for him to return to write the script for the film and return as a producer.

It’s unclear whether this upcoming follow-up to Extraction will be a sequel or a prequel.
