Thor could be coming to Captain Marvel 2!
Yep, you read that correctly. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor could be making a cameo appearance in the next Captain Marvel movie.
This would be a great addition to the upcoming Captain Marvel movie.
The sequel is currently looking for a director after the directors of the previous movie weren’t rehired to make the follow-up.
2019’s Captain Marvel was directed Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and when Marvel Studios revealed they would be moving ahead with the sequel, they also revealed that the pair wouldn’t be returning.
My best guess is that Marvel Studios will hire Lulu Wang to direct Captain Marvel 2.
She wrote and directed The Farewell and recently revealed she’s had meetings with Marvel Studios.
I think she’d be an excellent choice for the second movie, and I think Brie would love working with her.
I also think Hemsworth would too as Thor.
He likes working with younger and fresher directors, having worked very well with Taika Waititi on Thor: Ragnarok.

It’s been reported by We Got This Covered that the Aussie actor could be playing his Marvel character in Captain Marvel 2.
They stated that it would only be a cameo appearance which makes sense.
Marvel characters often pop up in one another’s movies.
I honestly think Thor is the best choice to team up with Captain Marvel.
The only thing I’d be worried about is whether they’d be too overpowered or not.
That said, we still don’t know what’s going to happen to Thor in the upcoming movies.
He could end up losing all his powers again, which would suck but also be rather amusing.
