Bruce Wayne’s Parent’s Will Reportedly Be Evil In The Batman

It’s being rumoured that Bruce Wayne’s parents – Thomas and Martha Wayne – will be evil in the upcoming The Batman film. This rumour comes to us from Giant Freakin Robot.

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for the upcoming The Batman movie. Forget all the nonsense about filming being a mess and Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves not getting along. That’s all rubbish if you ask me spread by people with nothing better to do.

However, this new rumour does have me scratching my head slightly as it’s being said that Batman’s parents are going to be bad in the upcoming movie. It sounds like they’re trying to turn Bruce Wayne’s origins story on its head.

Here’s what Giant Freakin Robot had to say about The Batman’s parents being evil in The Batman movie:

According to our trusted inside source – the same one that gave us our confirmed exclusive scoops regarding Don Cheadle appearing as War Machine in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Josh Brolin returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos – Robert Pattinson will be playing a Bruce Wayne who discovers his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, were actually villains. Our source says that it will be somewhat similar to the interpretations we have seen in Joker or the video game Batman: The Telltale Series where the Waynes are revealed to be either outright malicious in some way or, at the very least, not the squeaky clean idols we have seen in many iterations of the Batman world. Part of the reason Paul Dano’s Riddler is playing his deadly game with Bruce is because of the sordid history of Thomas and Martha.
