Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 Won’t Feature Chelsea Peretti As Gina Linetti
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 is currently airing on NBC and some fans have been looking forward to possibly seeing Gina Linetti return.
However, it seems as though those fans might end up being disappointed.
Gina Linetti (played by Chelsea Peretti) has played an important part of Brooklyn Nine-Nine since the very beginning of the show.
However, it’s looking like Peretti’s time of the show might be coming to an end.
Her character’s only been seen a handful of times in the last few seasons.
There are a multitude of reasons why this is the case, most of them personal to Peretti.
Her Brooklyn Nine-Nine colleague, Terry Crews has been chatting to People Now and that’s where he revealed Linetti might not be coming back in Season 7.
During the interview, Crews mentioned that Peretti is always considered part of the Nine-Nine family, and she did return for a few guest spots in Season 6.
However, we went on to say there are no plans yet for her return in Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 or beyond.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 won’t feature Gina Linetti
“I didn’t see her this season, but, you know with Season 8, there’s always something,” Crews said.
Crews added: “There’s one thing you’ve gotta understand about Brooklyn Nine-Nine, we’re a family.”
He also said that Peretti leaving the show was like, “a family member leaving for college,” adding, “there’s no beef, it’s all good.”
“These are my brothers and my sisters in every way, and Chelsea is one of the most talented women on television, no doubt,” he added.
He then commented: “She makes up these funny comments… just the way she calls my name.”
“Everything she does makes me laugh. I can’t help it,” Crews finished.
