Brandon Routh was in one of the best comic book movies ever made, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, yet he’s revealed that a sequel might not happen. This is really sad news as far as I’m concerned because there are many of us that would love to see another movie.
He was talking to Geek House Show recently and during that conversation they ended up getting onto the subject of Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. They asked the actor whether a sequel is in the works.
He played Todd Ingram in the movie, which was Evil Ex number 3, and he was brilliant in the movie. I’ll forever remember the vegan quote, and even though that was Scott’s quote, Todd was involved in it.
Anyway, back to the conversation. He actually revealed that he doubts a Scott Pilgrim Vs The World 2 will ever happen.

Here’s what Brandon Routh said during the interview about whether a Scott Pilgrim Vs The World sequel would ever happen:
I mean, I think that’s probably a 1. I just don’t think Bryan Lee O’Malley, who wrote the books, the wonderful books, is thinking about a sequel. Will we see Scott Pilgrim in a different iteration? It could be used, telling a similar story could be done in a different way, I suppose. I don’t know about a sequel. I’m on board, absolutely on board. The success of the movie that we did, and it’s certainly gained a lot more popularity and fan cred over the teen years since it came out, so it’s got a much bigger audience so I think it’d be at the box office. People would be excited about it if they did do one but I know nothing about anything being in the works for a sequel.
