It seems as though Black Panther 2’s (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) filming start date has been revealed, and it’s starting relatively soon.
According to YouTuber Everything Always, the movie will start shooting in December 2021.
Everything Always’s Michael Roman is claiming that this news was revealed to him by one of his sources.
The film will start filming in Atlanta in Georgia, and incidentally, that’s where Michael is based.
Roman also revealed that Black Panther 2’s main villain will be Namor The Sub-Mariner.
Black Panther 2 to start filming in December
It does sound like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is going to feature a war between Wakanda and Atlantis.
That, to me, sounds great and I’d really love it if they do end up going down that route.
We’ll have to wait and see.
We’ll also have to wait and see what Marvel and writer/director Ryan Coogler opts to do following Chadwick Boseman’s untimely passing.
There’s the question of what to do with the character of T’Challa.
There’s also the question of who will be the next Black Panther?
Will it be Shuri taking up the mantle?
That might be a bit difficult after Letitia Wright’s recent anti-COVID vaccine posts on Twitter.
Again, we’ll just have to wait and see how this all plays out.
