It’s been revealed by Zack Snyder himself that Ben Affleck’s Batman will drop the F-word in his upcoming Justice League cut. He revealed this during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, which was kind of fun.
This isn’t something we should be too surprised to hear. Zack Snyder has always wanted to make his DCEU movies more ‘mature’, and he was very open about wanting to have more swear words in his DC Comics films. It seems as though we’re now going to get an R-rated version of his Justice League cut. This will be because the film will be more violent and Batman will say the F-bomb in it.
This sounds like the kind of thing that fans of Zack Snyder’s DC Comics movies have been waiting for. So far, they’ve been violent, but they’ve also had to be a bit more restrained due to their rating. Well, it now seems as though Zack Snyder’s been given carte blanche to do whatever he wants with this movie.
Ben Affleck’s Batman will drop the F-bomb in Zack Snyder’s Justice League
Here’s what Zack Snyder had to say about Ben Affleck’s Batman dropping the F-bomb in his upcoming Justice League cut:
There’s one scene where Batman drops an F-bomb. Cyborg is not too happy with what’s going on with his life before he meets the Justice League, and he tends to speak his mind. And Steppenwolf is pretty much just hacking people in half. So the rating would be due to violence and profanity, probably both.
