Ayer’s Suicide Squad Cut Reportedly Getting A 2022 Release

Suicide Squad Will Smith Deadshot

It’s being reported that David Ayer’s cut of Suicide Squad is going to be released on HBO Max in 2022, which we think is the smartest thing to do as far as Warner Bros. Pictures is concerned.

There has been huge support for David Ayer’s cut of Suicide Squad to be released.

It’s actually become quite ridiculous how against the idea Warner Bros. executives have been.

There is a simple reason for it – releasing the Ayer Cut would show audiences and the world how inept the executives have been over at Warner Bros. Pictures.

It would be a terrible career move on behalf of all of the executives and producers involved in that movie.

At least, I say all of them, I mean the ones who got a company that cut trailers to edit the movie.

They gutted David Ayer’s movie and his vision and the director’s been very vocal about that fact.

Some may say maybe too vocal as it might not help his career for him to be so openly critical of a movie studio such as Warner Bros. Pictures.

However, fans have stood by Ayer and we stand by him too here at Small Screen.

Is it finally time for Warner Bros. Pictures to release the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad?

Now, we’re hearing new reports from Geekosity that it’s looking like things might be changing inside Warner Bros. Pictures.

They are currently going through a period of restructuring after their merger with Discovery.

AT&T opted to rid their hands of WarnerMedia and now they are merging with Discovery.

The new company will be called WarnerDiscovery and I think they’ll want to at least appease the fans by releasing the Ayer Cut.

Hopefully, many of the people inside Warners that have been causing so many issues: Tobey Emmerich, Ann Sarnoff and maybe even Walter Hamada, might end up leaving the company.

Bringing in new people might help to put Warner Bros. and especially the DC Films department back on track.

Hopefully, this new report suggests that WarnerMedia has come a long way since WarnerMedia Studios CEO Ann Sarnoff claimed: “We won’t be developing David Ayer’s cut”.

Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton is now saying that his sources are telling him that there could be an Ayer Cut announcement at DC FanDome, which would be incredible.

most definitely, maybe if Warner Bros had not gotten their hands on Green Lantern it might have been better than the comedy act that we got

Oh Yes. I really hope this happens. Apparently the film was gutted of the best content. With Enchantress characters best scenes cut to the extreme. Sheme on Warner for letting this happen. They can only bring in more of an adult audience with this cut. What’s not to like.
