Andrew Garfield And Tobey Maguire Are Rumoured To Be In Talks With Sony Pictures For Spider-Man 3

There is a new rumour making the rounds on the Internet suggesting that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are in talks for Spider-Man 3.

Now, I will start this article by making it clear where this rumour comes from.

The rumour comes from We Got This Covered.

They have a pretty… well… let’s call it spotty track-record when it comes to these rumours and scoops.

However, with the news that Jamie Foxx was going to be making a comeback to the Spider-Man universe, possibly as Eletro, then anything’s possible.

A week ago, if someone had asked me whether I thought that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Magure would ever return to a Spider-Man movie, I would have probably given it a 0.5% chance of happening.

Now, however, I think that number might be closer to 20%, and that’s a pretty big increase.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it is true that Sony and Marvel have been talking to Garfield and Maguire about Spider-Man.

It seems as though the studios are now open to the idea of exploring the Multiverse.

This means that we could get multiple versions of the same character.

We could end up seeing a live-action version of Into The Spider-Verse.

That really wouldn’t surprise me nowadays.

However, is this rumour really true? Again, I would question its source, but I hope it is.
