Ahsoka Tano Live-Action Spinoff Star Wars Series Announced For Disney Plus

Bryce Dallas Howard: Clone Wars Fans Will Love Ahsoka Series

It’s been officially revealed that Lucasfilm is working on a live-action Ahsoka Tano spinoff series for Disney Plus starring Rosario Dawson in the lead role. This news comes out of the purely insane Disney Investor’s Call.

Kathleen Kennedy had a lot to reveal during this Disney Investor’s call and one of the things she revealed was that an Ahsoka Tano series was in the works, which is just brilliant news. This is something that was rumoured for quite some time now.

However, it’s finally official, and it sounds like Ahsoka Tano will be going after Grand Admiral Thrawn in the show, and we, of course, reported that Lars Mikkelsen was going to be playing the villain in live-action.

So, fans were pretty much blown away by Ahsoka Tano’s live-action debut in The Mandalorian Season 2, and it sounds like they’re going to be very happy with the news that she’s getting her own show. Rosario Dawson is simply put, perfect in the lead role, and I can’t wait to see her play the role again in the future.

This is one of the brilliant bits of news that came out of this Disney Investor’s Call. They also revealed another Star Wars The Mandalorian spinoff show which will be called Rangers of the New Republic. Kathleen Kennedy didn’t reveal any details about the show.

She did reveal that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni would be working on both shows, which is very good news.
