It’s been revealed that the upcoming Star Wars Ahsoka Tano series has added Ray Stevenson to the cast as a villain, but he’s not playing Grand Admiral Thrawn.

This was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, and this is some very good casting.

The exclusive article revealed that Stevenson will be playing a villain in the series and will play an admiral.

However, the article was keen to stress that Ray Stevenson will not be playing Grand Admiral Thrawn.

We previously revealed that Lars Mikkelsen will be playing Thrawn in the Ahsoka Tano show.

However, it seems as though Disney and Lucasfilm are very keen on keeping this casting news ‘secret’ until the very last possible second.

Who could Ray Stevenson be playing in the Ahsoka Tano series?

Now, back to Ray Stevenson. He’s a genuinely terrific actor and has appeared in the likes of King Arthur, Rome, Punisher: War Zone, Thor, Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok.

He was also in the likes of Dexter, Black Sails and also voiced Gar Saxon in Star Wars Rebels from 2016 to 2017 and Star Wars: The Clone Wars in 2020.

So, Ray’s already got a history working on Star Wars projects, however, it doesn’t seem as though he’ll be playing Gar Saxon in the Ahsoka Tano show.
