Given that the character popped up in the most recent episode of What If?…, Gregg sees that as pretty conclusive that S.H.I.E.LD’s status as MCU canon.

I’ve seen places where people felt like SHIELD or something had been de-canonized by stuff that happened in WandaVision in ways I couldn’t even quite follow.

Regarding the query as to whether it’s canon:

I read this comment…where someone said, ‘Did this diminish Agents of SHIELD?’ And [Kevin] Feige said, ‘I think you’re really underestimating how powerful and passionate the fans of that show and the Netflix shows are and were.

He concluded by saying:

I would never underestimate them or the possibility of those characters. I want to see it all get crossed over as much as it could, cause I think that’s what the Marvel fans want.

With the Multiverse now in play, could Phil Coulson and co be fully re-integrated into the MCU?

We would be all for it.
