Adam Warlock Unleashes His Full Power In GOTG Vol 3 Clip

In the latest trailer for Marvel‘s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, titled Relax, Adam Warlock showcases his full power. With GOTG 3 potentially being James Gunn’s final film for Marvel, I suppose many of us are expecting that it will end with a bang. The writer-director has highlighted Rocket would be the centre of the upcoming film. The character is the main focus of the entire trilogy, slowly telling his story ever since we saw his attachments to his body it made the audience wonder, what happened to him.

But even before Gunn tells us about GOTG’s central story, many fans have been anticipating seeing Adam Warlock back in 2017. He was teased in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 during one of the end-credits scenes.

When it was announced that Will Poulter would be taking the role, many couldn’t believe it. Many still saw the actor as the kid from We’re the Millers (2013). It’s actually that movie that immortalised him, resulting in many memes using his image. But since the first trailer released for GOTG 3, it immediately proved many people wrong.

At this point, especially with how things are going with Marvel’s MCU films and TV, Gunn’s film feels like a ray of hope.

Guardians of the Galaxy Clip Shows Adam Warlock’s Power

Marvel has just released its latest trailer for James Gunn’s third Guardians of the Galaxy film. It features the team having a funny argument regarding Drax using a sofa as a bed; it does include many split-second scenes with high action. And it features Adam Warlock, played by Will Poulter, in just a few frames. But nevertheless, it does show him powering up using his most formidable ability.

The Sovereign-created character possesses an array of remarkable attributes, including superhuman speed, stamina, and reflexes, in addition to being a telepath and immortal. He can withstand time freezes and reality warping and even has the power to see and manipulate time itself. While numerous other skills could be mentioned, one of his most impressive abilities is his use of cosmic power, which enables him to project powerful energy blasts from his hands.

And this is what we see in the trailer. Warlock’s hands powering up. And it does get us excited about what will come in the future. We wonder how much we will see in upcoming trailers and the film itself. I think we won’t see all of his powers in the movie; he is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe.

He definitely looks like a dangerous opponent for the Guardians.

At the moment, we don’t know the future of Will Poulter’s Adam Warlock. In the comics, while he initially felt like a villain, he generally turns out to be a hero. Considering that the character is immortal, he could still potentially show up in future films. Will he be an important character in the coming of Avengers: Secret Wars? He could be.

For now, his future in the MCU is pure speculation, but I can’t deny that he could be one of the characters that we might have been waiting for to give the MCU a fresh look. In the comics, he was a critical figure in the Infinity Gauntlet saga. But since that is already done and over with, we do hope that future MCU films will show more of him.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is set to release in the UK this coming May 3, 2023.
