A Khan Star Trek Spinoff Movie Starring Benedict Cumberbatch Rumoured To Be In The Works
It’s being rumoured that Paramount Pictures is working on a Star Trek spinoff movie involving Benedict Cumberbatch’s Khan.
This rumour comes from scooper Daniel Ritchman who’s claiming that Paramount wants to make a Khan Star Trek spinoff movie.
He’s also claiming that Benedict Cumberbatch could return to play the role.
Cumberbatch played Khan in Star Trek: Into Darkness and I thought he was great in the role.
However, people got rather annoyed with the movie because before it was released everyone was saying he wasn’t playing Khan in the movie.
Well, the movie came out and it turned out that he was playing the iconic Star Trek villain.
But, now it seems as though Paramount wants him back to play the role in a spinoff movie.
Benedict Cumberbatch might get to play Khan again in a Star Trek spinoff movie
It seems as though – if this rumour is true – Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be pretty busy over the next few years.
We already know that he’s going to be playing Doctor Strange in Spider-Man 3.
There are also rumours that he might turn up towards the end of WandaVision.
He’s also going to be filming the second Doctor Strange movie, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.
That movie is being directed by Sam Raimi and it sounds like it’s going to be brilliant.
As for this Star Trek Khan spinoff movie, Paramount really wants Benedict Cumberbatch for the role.
The movie might not happen if he says no.
