You Can Now Read Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’s Script For Free

James Gunn has now made the entire script to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 available for everybody to read and it’s completely free.

James Gunn already has a lot of fans. Not only has he arguably directed two of Marvel’s best films in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and 2, but he’s also very receptive to fans on social media and loves to keep an open dialogue with people. He’s always been very transparent about his work despite being tied to corporations like Marvel and Disney who are always so strict about letting spoilers slip. yet, Gunn has a real knack for being able to tell the fans what’s going on without spoiling anything. It’s a very difficult skill.

Gunn’s now probably made himself even more fans by releasing the entire script of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 online and it’s completely free. No strings attached. So if you were looking for something to read, this script may be worth a look. You can check it out via this link here.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 managed to improve on what Gunn had started with the first movie, which is no mean feat considering how good Vol. 1 was. It was unlike any other Marvel movie before it and you can see films like Thor: Ragnarok trying to replicate the Guardians movies’ tone and aesthetic. That said, Thor: Ragnarok does feel very much like a Taika Waititi movie, much in the same way that Guardians 1 and 2 have James Gunn written all over them.

James Gunn was the sole scriptwriter on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which is pretty much unheard of in the comic book movie universe. These films are usually written by committee and have a whole hoard of writers attached to them. Yet, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is Gunn’s movie through and through which is why the script is so worth reading. If anything it’s a piece of modern movie history.

You can also purchase Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on Blu-ray and DVD right now here.
