Here’s what Zack Snyder had to say about not being paid for his Snyder cut of Justice League:

I’m not getting paid. I didn’t want to be beholden to anyone, and it allowed me to keep my negotiating powers with these people pretty strong.

This is so interesting. He basically didn’t want to be paid for making this Snyder Cut of Justice League because he didn’t want to be “beholden” to any one. This makes so much sense because of what happened to Zack Snyder the first time around.
