It’s been revealed that Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League cut which is coming to HBO Max will be a 4-hour-long movie, not a miniseries. This has been revealed by Zack Snyder on Vero (via What’s On HBO Max on Twitter).

It had been said previously that Zack Snyder’s Justice League was going to be a miniseries, not a movie. However, Snyder has recently revealed that the opposite is the case. Snyder’s Justice League will be a 4-hour-long movie, not a miniseries as previously reported.

He revealed this news on Vero when a fan asked the director whether his Justice League cut would be a series on a “one shot watch of a movie”. Snyder answered simply with: “One shot”.

This is the first confirmation from the director that his Justice League would be a four-hour-long movie that’s designed to be watched in one sitting. That’s a long time to spend watching a Justice League film, and I am pretty surprised they’ve opted to do it this way.

There had been reports that the Justice League film was going to be split into four one-hour-long episodes on HBO Max. However, perhaps the fact that they want to release the film in cinemas also meant that they had to cut it into a movie instead.
