Warner Bros. CEO Confirms DC Universe Films And TV Shows Are All Connected

Warner Bros. Pictures’ chairwoman and CEO Ann Sarnoff has shared some interesting information on their plans for the DC universe. During a recent interview, she shared that everything in the DC Universe is connected.

Sarnoff was talking to MediaLink in a recent interview about the future of the DC Comics movies, and that was when she revealed that the DC Universe was going to be connected moving forward. This makes me think that The Flash movie thats coming up is basically going to be a hard reboot of the DCEU.

A lot on the line for the future of DC Films, and they’ve just announced that Walter Hamada’s contract has been extended until 2023, which seems to show that they believe he is the man to steady the ship. Check out what Sarnoff had to say below.

Here’s what Ann Sarnoff had to say about the DC Universe being connected moving forward:

Everything’s connected now and we’re building a DC universe plan that’s much more centrally connected, but individually executed. I think it’s really upstream in the planning that it all needs to come together so people can feel a pride of their efforts.

She also revealed that the movies going forward will also be “filmmaker-driven”, which makes it sound as if they’re actually learned something from Joker’s success at the box office and with critics.
