Tom Ellis Says He Won’t Be Playing Lucifer Again After Season 6

Tom Ellis has revealed that he won’t be playing Lucifer again after Season 6’s finale, which is very sad news.

It was touch-and-go for a while there regarding whether Tom Ellis would be returning for Lucifer Season 6 at all.

However, he ended up signing on for what will be the final season of the show we’ve come to love so much.

Over the years, we’ve all been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride when it comes to Lucifer.

Cancelled one minute, saved the next. Ending one second, continuing the next.

It’s been an interesting ride, yet some people have been hopeful of seeing more of Tom Ellis as Lucifer even after the show came to an end.

Ellis revealed that he wouldn’t be returning a Lucifer after Season 6 during a episode of the podcast King of Con.

Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

Six seasons of the show is a real achievement. It’s been a huge emotional journey and I don’t think I want to do anymore. I know I don’t want to do any more. Mainly because I wanna know that we’re ending and because I’ve had such a great time. I think it’s only fitting that we have a proper ending to the show.
