Tom Cruise Is Heading To Space In 2021 To Make A Movie With Elon Musk And NASA

After many rumours around connecting Tom Cruise with a movie being made in space with Elon Musk and NASA’s help yesterday, we’ve had our first source of confirmation.

In July 2020 Deadline confirmed Tom Cruise and Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman had pitched a $200 million film shot in space to Universal

They pitched this movie without a script… and Universal Pictures accepted it!

Space Shuttle Almanac’s Twitter page confirmed the latest update via the passenger manifest for the next 3 years.

In October 2021, the man who has saved the world from terrorists fought alongside the Samurai & fought off aliens is about to go… to space – the final frontier.

We have to imagine this won’t be the last of many trips for Tom Cruise as he looks to film the worlds first film in Space.

Reports say pre-production has already begun with director Liman taking trips to SpaceX launches in early March.

The budget seems low at the moment given the costs that we’ll assume comes with space travel.

However, with Elon Musk and NASA both onboard the project and given the fact that it’ll most likely be funded from third parties too, I’m sure this space-bound movie project will have all the money it needs.

As the interest in space returns with plans for Mars exploration and the US manned return to the Moon via the Artemis 3 in 2024, this movie would act alongside engaging the public interest.

We’ll be eagerly anticipating further information, footage & images when released.
