Superman Might Turn Up In Black Adam 2 For A Big Final Showdown

Superman Black Adam 2 DC Comics DCEU

We’ve just learnt that Black Adam will be coming out in cinemas on December 22nd, 2021, which is wonderful news, and we’re now hearing rumours that they’re already prepping Black Adam 2 and that Superman might turn up in the movie.

It kind of makes sense for Superman to go up against Black Adam because they would be the two most powerful beings in the DCEU.

However, what isn’t so certain is whether Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Black Adam would end up going up against Henry Cavill’s Superman or whether they’ll just recast the Man of Steel.

This rumour comes courtesy of We Got This Covered’s sources, so it may or may not be true, but they claim that: “We should expect a showdown between Clark Kent and Teth-Adam in the sequel as this is something the studio’s very keen on doing.”

As I mentioned before, the article doesn’t mention whether Cavill is set to return to the role or not, and to be honest, it’s looking like he’s going to be rather busy for the foreseeable future with The Witcher.

It had been reported that Netflix is planning seven seasons of The Witcher in total, and that’s going to take up a huge chunk of Cavill’s time.

That said, who would they get to replace Cavill, who I still believe is the best possible man for the job.

I’m one of those fans who believes that Cavill is a perfect Superman, he’s just been given some really duff scripts and been in some bad DC Comics movies.

Give Cavill a good script and a good director and you’ll get the best Superman movie ever made.
