Lucasfilm Might Be Planning An MCU-Like Star Wars TV Universe On Disney Plus

Colin Trevorrow leaked Star Wars: Episode 9 movie script is a lot better than what we got

It’s being suggesting that Lucasfilm is planning on making an MCU-like Star Wars TV universe which will all come to Disney Plus.

This news does come from We Got This Covered’s sources, so make of that what you will.

WGTC’s slightly shoddy track record to one side, their sources supposedly claim that Lucasfilm is planning on making their Star Wars TV shows a lot like the MCU.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is unlike anything we’ve ever seen in Hollywood before.

There have been 23 films in the MCU so far and they’re all interlinked and are all part of a much larger storyline.

If the sources are correct, then it means that Lucasfilm is thinking of doing something similar with all their TV shows.

So far, we’ve had The Mandalorian Season 1, and we’re about to see Season 2.

It was revealed that Season 2 will feature Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and will also see the return of Boba Fett.

It looks like Lucasfilm is going to turn their Star Wars shows into the MCU

We also know that Lucasfilm is working on a whole load of other live-action Star Wars shows.

There’s the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show as well as the Cassian Andor series which will be coming out shortly.

We’ve also heard that Lucasfilm is going to be making a female-centric series which will be developed by Leslye Headland.

Not much is known about these TV shows, however, they’re all in the pipeline.

It would make sense for Lucasfilm to link all these shows together, much like Marvel Studios has done with the MCU.

It’ll be interesting to see how these TV shows all end up interlinking in the Star Wars universe.
