Spider-Man 3 Is Rumoured To Be The Second Part Of A Multiverse Trilogy

It’s now being rumoured that Spider-Man 3 could actually be the second part in what will be a Multiverse trilogy. It’s being rumoured that Spider-Man 3 will be tied to WandaVision and then Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness.

This rumour comes from Daniel Richtman’s Patreon page. Honestly, I think Daniel’s information is correct here, because it really does look like the Multiverse is going to play a very important part in all these upcoming Marvel projects.

Especially since Mikey Sutton of Geekosity dropped the same information just last week in his Spider-Man 3 plot details article (which we covered), on December 12th. You can check it out here (6th paragraph).  Warning, potential spoilers.

It’s already being rumoured that Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff is going to be the one who will open up the MCU to the Multiverse. This will then have ramifications in Spider-Man 3 and then Doctor Strange will try to sort it all out in Doctor Strange 2.

So, to recap, this upcoming MCU Multiverse trilogy will start off with WandaVision, then we’ll get Spider-Man 3 and finally Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. This means that these projects will all be linked – possibly by the presence of the Multiverse and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange.

It’s been rumoured that Doctor Strange will also be in WandaVision, and we know that Elizabeth Olsen is going to be in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness. I really cannot wait to see what happens. I’m also starting to think that Wanda Maximoff might end up being a villain in the MCU – or at least, she could be the villain in these three MCU projects.
