It seems as though a lot of people want Disney to fire Gina Canaro from The Mandalorian Season 2, and have got #FireGinaCarano trending on Twitter. That said, there are also a lot of people who are very excited to see Carano in the second season of the very first live-action Star Wars show.
Now, I’m not going to go into why people don’t like Gina Carano on here. You can read the tweets below to see what people don’t like about her for yourselves. Anyway, people are adamant that they want her gone from the Star Wars show.
Many people have suggested that she be removed from the show and then Disney can have Sasha Banks as a series regular instead. I like the idea of seeing more of Sasha Banks’ character in The Mandalorian. However, I’m not overly certain about getting rid of Gina Carano.
WARNING: There is a lot of bad language that some people might find offensive in these tweets.

I see #FireGinaCarano is trending worldwide.
Hear me out, what if we just replace Gina Carano with Cris Cyborg again?
Realistically, Gina is aging like a white woman and Cris is just getting finer, put a real bad bitch on the show. pic.twitter.com/7GPrwwnn5m

–#FireGinaCarano she’s a bigoted asshole who wasn’t even a good actor in the first place. she makes fun of the lgbtq+ community and allows her fans to make death threats while also preaching “love and positivity” she’s so hypocritical PLEASE get rid of her.

So, it looks like people really don’t want Carano in The Mandalorian any more. However, she does have a lot of fans who support her. That’s why the hashtag #IStandWithGina is also trending on Twitter.
It’s a really difficult position for Disney to be in. I’m pretty sure they would rather Gina Carano not have expressed some very questionable political views. Viewers of the show really have issues with her making fun of the LGBTQ+ community, which I do as well. She really shouldn’t have done that, and people have been fired for less.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but this has been going on for some time now, and Gina Carano is still in The Mandalorian as it stands.
