A New Riddick Sequel Starring Vin Diesel Is Rumoured To Be In The Works

There’s a new rumour making the rounds on the Internet suggesting that a new Riddick sequel starring Vin Diesel is in the works.

I still remember being slightly obsessed with the first Riddick movie that ever came out.

That was Pitch Black which came out in 2000 and it was one of the movies that would have a lasting effect on a young 10-year-old.

It’s been twenty years now since that first film came out.

Since then we’ve had a bunch of sequels to that movie, but none of them really captured the magic and terror of the first film.

They’ve become fantasy movies and are kind of parodies of themselves.

The first film was a stripped-down horror film and was so much better for it.

Anyway, it’s now being rumoured that a Riddick sequel is already in the works.

This new rumour comes from ‘insider’ Daniel Ritchman, who claims that the movie is moving forward quickly.

Ritchman says that the film will still be called Riddick 4: Furya, which makes sense because we know the script’s out there already.

Vin Diesel shared the front page of it himself via his Instagram account.

He’s also claiming that the film’s producers and Vin Diesel himself want Karl Urban back as the villain.

Urban’s stock has been on the rise over the last few years.

He turned up in Thor: Ragnarok as Skurge. He was also in the Star Trek movies as Bones.

Yet people seem to be really warming to him as Billy Butcher in Amazon’s The Boys.

It would be a pretty big coup if they could get Urban back for this Riddick sequel.

He’s a pretty busy guy these days.
